Walk In Customers who leave and do their " Homework "

It's likely they would rather work with someone different at the dealership. Maybe it's time for a "manager" to step in.

Absolutely. Our CRM will check to see if any leads have are already been logged, so when that happens I'll call with "Hi, this is Bill I'm a manager here. I saw you visited us the other day, how did it go?" It's pretty simple but 99% of the time they'll tell me their objection right away and you'll know right away if they liked the salesperson or not. If they like him they'll tell you how awesome they were. If it's an issue with the salesperson I invite them to come in and work with me directly in my office. It works pretty well and I've saved some couple deals that way.
