Hey all,

I've spent the last few months building a stock sourcing tool for UK dealers and wanted to get some thoughts from this community.

One thing I kept hearing was that buyers were spending hours every morning jumping between BCA, Manheim, Motorway, Carwow and other marketplaces, running the same searches over and over and still worrying they'd missed something.

The approach we've taken is to pull everything into one place and rank vehicles based on how that dealership actually buys. It uses buying history, with some AI sprinkled in, to rank cars from all platforms. Dealers can create buying rules, give feedback on recommendations, and over time the recommendations improve.

It's built around the UK market today, but I'm curious whether dealers in the US experience the same pain points. Is the workflow there any different? Are buyers still bouncing between multiple marketplaces every morning, or are there tools that already solve this well?

If there are any US dealers here who'd be interested in shaping something similar for your market, I'd love to chat. I'm interested in understanding how your sourcing process differs from what we see in the UK.

I'm also looking to work closely with 3–5 dealerships over the next month. You'll get free access to the platform in exchange for using it as part of your normal buying process and giving me honest, unfiltered feedback. Whether that's a UK dealer using the current version or a US dealer who wants to help shape what a US version could look like, I'd love to hear from you.

Would love to hear how you're currently sourcing inventory, where you think the biggest time sinks are, and what you'd want a tool like this to do.

✨ AI Highlights

A UK developer shares a stock sourcing tool that aggregates vehicle listings from BCA, Manheim, Motorway, Carwow, and other platforms into one ranked feed, using dealer buying history and AI to surface the most relevant vehicles. The post invites feedback from both UK dealers and US dealers to gauge whether the same pain point — hours lost jumping between marketplaces — exists across markets. The thread is early-stage, positioning it as a product validation conversation rather than a mature solution review.
