Any idea of which plugins or inventory systems are being used here? I'm trying to build a WP site for my dad's small used car dealership. Prefer tools that are open source/free

He is one of my programmers and I know he built a plug in a while ago. I don't know the details, but at least is a starting point.

Small note: this is actually a full WordPress theme and not a plugin to be added to an existing installation that you've already customized (visually). You have to use this particular theme and not the one you have already. Looks good, but your inventory management appears to be manual (just custom post types within WP). So each vehicle is represented by a custom WordPress 'Post' that you add/remove yourself one at a time.

No data feeds, not a plug-in, no automatic car fax, no thanks... Oldest theme out there that's mass marketed.. People need to just go with Dealer Trend, all-in-one plug-in blows everything else out of the water hands down.

WP theme builder, does great work. Specializes in Real Estate, I sent him emails years ago to build a car dealer WP theme. Posted this here a couple of years ago.

His team builds microsites in WP so they developed a plug in internally for sites like this one (simple sites but it works) SRT Viper Bellevue | SRT Viper | Olympia, WA

The plug in is fully functional but I think it requires an XML feed from whatever data collection tool you use.

I would recommend DealerTrend. You would still need some WP knowledge to use the plugin to it's full potential. It's under $250 a month and fully supported. Here is our WP site using their inventory plugin.
