We dropped to a 3 for a few months, and I couldn't figure out why because we had been a 4 for years.

Interesting. Not that PR directly translated into money; it is arguable that a higher emphasis from Google will translate into better SEO exposure though. I wonder if Cars.com will incorporate any of this into their advertising? I'd be surprised if they did. But if they did, that would sure get the industry talking about Page Rank. It would kind of be on par with arguing over which camera is better solely based on MegaPixels.
