Agreed, definitely make sure you have their data dictionary on hand when navigating the large number of tables and fields available.

The data dictionary is our devs new best friend haha I wish CDK would allow us to query that PostgreSQL database they use to generate the file exports from. Currently our dealer partners are needing to generate 250+ separate report exports in order to get all of the data..we end up just cherry picking a handful instead, but ideally we would like all of the data without needing our dealer partners who are a little less tech savvy needing to setup so many separate exports.

Have you found any workaround to do a mass export?

I was wanting to get information on Data Your Way. Is there anyone still on this forum with great knowledge of it to be done at dealer level so ISV's can get data from the dealers

We just went through a process alongside a dealer using CDK to get Data Your Way enabled. It was fraught with peril and so cumbersome we couldn't get it to work after a full month of going back and forth with customer support. To be fair - could have been user error on our side, but it was more like "Data? No Way". Sorry...couldn't resist.

Dani what are you trying to accomplish exactly once you setup Data Your Way? Similar to what others mention it is a pain to setup and frankly seems more of a full time job for someone on the dealer end to manage.

Depending on what you're trying to use the data for/depth of data you are looking for, Authenticom/DealerVault is likely a better route especially if you are trying to do something at scale.
