Free Online Marketing

Brian, there are a lot of free marketing opportunities online. Some are pretty mainstream such as craigslist, facebook, twitter, youtube, and some require a little more outside of the box thinking such as using photo upload sites, blog sites, and creating additional website or landing pages. But look at it this way, if there is a place online where you can get a link back to your website from a reputable site it will add to your overall dealership marketing. Most services out there that you pay for are really charging for the convenience of doing it for you as well as their experience in doing it right the first time.

If you have time to invest then do it yourself, if you time can be better spent elsewhere, pay someone to do some of it for you.

✨ AI Highlights

A dealer asks about free online marketing strategies beyond SEO to drive traffic to his dealership website. The main response recommends leveraging free platforms like Craigslist, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and even photo/blog sites to build backlinks and boost visibility, while noting that paid services primarily offer convenience and expertise rather than fundamentally different opportunities. The key insight is that dealers can handle free marketing themselves if they have the time, but should consider hiring help if their efforts are better spent on other business activities.
