Carvana?? Who and What are they?

That makes total sense. When you mentioned "damages", I was think more along the lines of actual body damange. Something that would need the attention of a professional body or repair shop. I'm guess the damanges were more minor, like scratches, dings, small tear in the seat, etc.

That reminds me. When I was at Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown, I would take photos of any scratches, dings or imperfections. Only a select few would have these issues since we reconditioned the cars to the hilt. Boy oh boy, when the used car manager first found out - he shipped his pants. He came around. :)
 
Carvana handles damage exactly the way it needs to be done for a direct-to-consumer shipping model.
Not only is it in the photos, but they actually highlight it and explain it to you.

I love their business model and I full expect it to take hold more and more as we progress through 2015.
