Folks- I came from healthcare and learned about "speed to lead" like 6 months back. It reminded me of 2020 study. Key finding below:
"Eggs are surrounded by follicular fluid that releases chemicals called chemoattractants that attract sperm to unfertilised eggs. The researchers tested whether that fluid attracts some men's sperm more than others, and found that follicular fluid from one female was better at attracting sperm from one male, while follicular fluid from another female was better at attracting sperm from a different male. Intriguingly, the egg's chemical preferences did not always align with the woman's chosen partner. Sometimes a non-partner's sperm was attracted more strongly. "
So is it possible that a lead (egg) attracts some specific type of dealers (sperm) more? And in this "speed to lead" race, we are not paying enough attention to it? Coz if you knew what kind of "follicular fluid" that lead has, you can act differently to fertilize that lead?
In the end, it may not be material. But would love to hear from experienced folks here.
