Dealer.com Advertising is a no go according to DDC themselves

This level of honesty is needed. Most dealers website's suck and they don't know any better, so they believe whatever they are told. To properly analyze a website GA, that takes an hour if done right or longer. Dealer.com had been the cookie cutter brand IMO, there's nothing unique looking at one site to another. Simply creating a new site means opening a template and changing the info. My recommendation is hiring a professional website development company, pay for a great website about $1k-$5k, then self host for about $150/mo with fast and secure servers. Pay another company for your SEM, and control everything. Let others critique your site often and problem solved. I recommend NabThat.com for websites that convert, which is all that matters. Get Drift for chat/bot and end the monopoly of mediocrity. My opinion.

Guys we can find any measurement to make both / all arguments valid. This topic is about what’s happening at DDC. Right now the new car biz is hurting and dealers are reacting with cancels and decreased spending. If you all don’t think this isn’t happening at other vendors you’re all high. There are a ton of good people at DDC who do a great job as there are at other places. One young naive (assumed) ds decided to handle his fear of change in an inappropriate way IMHO. DDC haters can we all just chill and look at the bigger picture here?? Water flows downhill and it is going to reach others soon.

Us dealers tend to act rashly and blame providers for lacking the clairvoyance to read our minds. Our group has been with DDC for over a decade, suffered through the years when their customer service really did suck. While we would love to have one DS/PC dedicate ALL her time on our group, we know that is not a reality. The fact is, she is equal to the task WHEN WE COMMUNICATE our needs. Many of our stores have gone to outside vendors to provide SEM services, but for us to consider another Host platform on the cusp of integrations such as Vinsolutions's Automotive Intelligence, vAuto's TotalConnect advertising integration, and so on is frankly, short-sighted. If you were Cox, would you EVER allow Vinlens code to be installed on a non-DDC site? What Cox needs to fix is AutoTrader.
