Dealerships should not have to choose between integration and independence

Payment processing has become a bigger operational and financial decision for dealerships. Between rising card costs, reconciliation challenges, service lane efficiency, and customer expectations for modern payment options, many stores are taking a closer look at whether their current processor is really serving their business.

One issue we hear often is the lack of choice.

Too many dealerships feel locked into a bundled payment processor simply because it is presented as the default option within their DMS or workflow. That can come with limited transparency, higher costs, or revenue-share economics that may not align with the dealership’s best interests.

PayJunction gives dealerships the freedom to choose a different integrated path.

Our No-code Payments Integration® works within existing browser-based DMS workflows, helping stores modernize payments without a major technology overhaul. Dealerships can reduce manual entry, simplify reporting and reconciliation, support faster checkout, and give customers more convenient ways to pay.

PayJunction also offers SmartSurchargeTM, which helps dealerships offset nearly all credit card fees with automatic card detection and clear customer-facing disclosures.

The bottom line: dealerships should not have to choose between integration and independence. With PayJunction, they can work with a trusted integrated payment partner that gives them simple, effortless control. Learn more at https://www2.payjunction.com/automotive-merchant-services.

I had some recent transactions from afar, and I was surprised the dealerships still wanted a credit card number over the phone. Even the mom and pop businesses in little ole' Vermont have credit card processing I can do without having to tell someone my stuff over the phone.

✨ AI Highlights

PayJunction, a payment processing vendor, argues that dealerships are too often locked into bundled processors tied to their DMS, leading to limited transparency and potentially higher costs. The post promotes their No-code Payments Integration as an alternative that allows dealerships to switch processors without sacrificing integration. The core pitch is that dealerships should have the freedom to choose independent, integrated payment solutions rather than accepting a default vendor relationship.
