Transparency (clear indication of KPIs and what they truly mean), at the risk of their own existence will show value. Throw those metrics (vendor model dependent) into a sales attribution model and crunch over time (Does It Sell Cars / DISC). The appropriate vendors should be more than happy to participate. If they've nothing to hide and perform well; they've nothing to worry about right?
