I am trying to learn how dealers are using social media to increase leads.

I've been talking to a few experts already and before I create my service, I wanna make sure the pain is real.

If you have 15 minutes chat with me on instagram to help me out, please leave a comment down below.

Thanks

I’ve seen dealers get the best traction by treating social as a two‑way street instead of a megaphone, especially with quick replies and real faces on camera. Tools like Look Up Someone Using a Photo can also help you understand who’s actually engaging with your content, which makes targeting a lot less of a shot in the dark. Happy to chat if you want real examples of what’s worked for us.

Hi
If it's is just lead generation then social media alone may not work until used correctly. Because when someone wants to buy a car it doesn't search on Facebook until one is confident that he or she can check the car technically.
People search for cars every day for many reasons ... pricing, availability, comparing models, and seeing what’s on the market. The technical inspection usually comes later, once the buyer has narrowed their options and is closer to making a decision. Social media can be very effective earlier in that journey by creating awareness and driving interest before the buyer is ready to purchase.

✨ AI Highlights

A vendor seeks input from dealers on how they're using social media for lead generation, sparking debate about social media's actual effectiveness in automotive sales. Responses highlight that social media works best as a two-way engagement tool rather than a broadcast channel, but disagreement emerges on whether it drives leads directly or primarily functions as early-stage awareness before buyers are ready to purchase. The key insight is that social media's value depends on where it fits in the customer journey—it's more effective for creating interest and building relationships than for closing sales-ready leads.
