I really enjoy the company I work for now, but unfortunately there are a few reasons I'm choosing to leave:
- They refuse to become an "internet store" and at the end of the day are choosing to hold gross on vehicles.
- Direct Deposit: That's right. When you're the "IT Guy" and nobody knows their way around Reynolds. This is what you are in charge of. I worked with the accounting department (and the bank of course) to create the necessary processes to put direct deposit in place!
An Internet Manager named Eric Walraven posts his qualifications and availability for hire, mentioning he recently left a dealership that refused to operate as an "internet store" and holding gross on vehicles. Colleagues vouch for his expertise and experience, while a debate emerges about whether internet-focused dealerships must sacrifice gross profit and the role of salespeople in price-driven sales models. The thread demonstrates community support for Walraven's job search while surfacing philosophical differences among dealers about internet sales strategy.
