Taking videos of your vehicles

One Brick shy of a fulll load...

YouTube - 2007 CHEVY SILVERADO 4X4 Z71 LTZ SILVERADO in CHATTANOOGA TN 37408

A magnificant TV and radio voice, our man also knows the biz... BUT... the opening shot looks like the silveado ran over an IED, then, he goes into super sales rep walk around mode and gets the camera lost. He keys in on the brake fluid resivor, then the hood cloth and on and on. He finishes with what shold be the start. THE BEAUTY SHOT AND THE HOT FEATURES.

Final Rank: 7 out of 10

With a litle bit of effort, this fella could own the CHATTANOOGA auto-interweb.

YouTube launches call-to-action overlay

Just as online publishers ready new, enlarged ad units, YouTube has finally released the Call-to-Action Overlay that lets advertisers direct viewers to any site of their choice, MarketingVox reports.

The semi-transparent pop-up gives advertisers the first opportunity to encourage YouTube users to visit another online destination. Prior to this, advertisers had to include a link in the summary of the video -- not an ideal call-to-action strategy.

YouTube says it has made efforts to diminish any negative effects that might come from driving traffic off-site. Original article found on iMedia - YouTube launches call-to-action overlay

This will be a HUGE play for dealers!

Bout time! Any idea when this will be out? I was putting videos on YouTube last night and didn't see a thing different.

Alex, I added a link in the post above to the MarketingVox article as well. I thought it was in there.

Looks as if it could be any day now. They are testing it with non-profit right now. Hummm...that could be fun to go back and redo all our videos.

How is this different than adding the little call out annotations that have been supported for a while now?

The new way supports embedding actual images as well?
