One additional thing to consider when deciding between Carfax and AutoCheck is Carfax's Used Car Listings and Carfax for Life product offerings. You can't get either unless you are a Carfax VHR client.

Do the benefits that those two products provide justify the premium Carfax charges? That's up to you to decide.

I want to pull a report on a 996 that I should be purchasing next week and was wondering about people's experience with these reports. Is there a better company to use overall with better info? Dealerships here still use Carfav, there are others as well that are less expensive. What have you used?

I think you're smart to pull both a CarFax and an AutoCheck. AutoCheck is a dealer-only product, so you'll need to find a dealer who will pull it for you.
