    Interesting that Uber Health was created. For people who can't drive — either because of age or poverty — and so Medicare and Medicaid providers foot the bill.

    Interestingly enough, my wife owns a medical billing group and I had her reach out to Uber and they returned her call. We'll see what they say. I think it helps that they have a base in Pittsburgh, where she is located. Her group could do the billing (specific codes) for medical transportation transactions (takes a %) and there will be many.

    Dealerships could get in this game, but they would need to morph their models.

    I like it!! The savings could be the liability. Plus the convenience for the customer, especially during the morning and evening rush.

    I realize I'm reviving an old thread here, but just felt like it might be worth chiming in.

    I just recently started with a company called Quickride that helps manage the logistics and tracking/dispatch of service shuttles.
    The UX is similar to Uber, but it's with your own employees and service shuttles.

    If anybody want to know more, I'm an open book.

    In the hopes of this NOT coming off as purely self promotional, I've spoken with a lot of dealerships who are currently using Redcab - https://redcab.co/

    I haven't personally sat through a demo with redcab myself, but from what I understand is it's an alternative to Uber/Lyft.
    I'm not sure what their pricing structure looks like but a lot of dealers that I've spoken with have dropped Uber/Lyft due to their costs.
