What Cool Tech Gift did you get for the Holiday?

Late for the holidays but had to turn in the ancient Mitsubishi T.V. for a Samsung 650.

1080p w/ 120Hz refresh. Trying to get the RSS reader to display stats from my CRM. May have to redirect the DNS from USA today to show "news" from my custom RSS feed.

Does the Samsung have a build in RSS reader? That would be decent.

Yes, it has the built in RSS reader for pre-defined URL's. If i want to subscribe to feeds other than USA Today I will have to do some DNS magic. The TV runs a linux kernal and is GPL open source, I am just not sure if I want to reflash my new TV yet.

Boom - check this out...:yabuddy:

Jeff Kreshner's face on my Samsung... I had to customize the rss feed, it doesn't appear that it can take very complicated tag structure. It is limited to the following tag structure.

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<rss version="2.0">
  <channel>

Yeah :thumbup:

I want to see more people in the Auto Biz get on Macs so that our technology vendors will code for them.

One of our higher ups is a beta tester for Mac. His office is tricked out with Mac stuff. 30" Cinema display, MBP, iPhone.

Despite this, we still run IE6 company wide and my attempt to expense an iMac for my desk continues to be denied.
