BUSTED Spincar caught selling dealer data

I believe Tarry would actually benefit greatly by having Brian Pasch review his solution. I think Brian could provide some great feedback on how to improve the UI/UX for customers.

Because to be honest, I've played around with it, and it's difficult to use. I know Brian would provide candid feedback on how to make some minor adjustments that would benefit usability and make it award-winning worthy.

Something totally funny... I went to VistaDash (Pasch) and can find all of their clients... In theory, I could keep track of their churn / attrition. LMFAO!

@Alexander Lau , I have always appreciated your passion, but dude...relax. If you don't like someone that's fine. When you express it the way that you are going about it, your message gets lost in your delivery.

I don't know any of the people you are spewing hatred toward nor do I need to. I was a SpinCar customer with WAS being the key word.

I am going to side with you (sort of) in that SpinCar would have never been an eligible participant in my Shark Tank contest due to their questionable past.

You have value to add to the group Alexander, but you really need to take it down a notch if you really care about helping anyone.

I believe Tarry would actually benefit greatly by having Brian Pasch review his solution. I think Brian could provide some great feedback on how to improve the UI/UX for customers.

Possibly, but I think the $$$$ at the time to do it was in the $20K range.

I actually educated Brian on credit-first vs credit-last digital retailing, along with other aspects of the credit piece.

Here's a little of it: https://shopbypayment.com/2019/03/29/brian-pasch-digital-retailing-podcast-series/

And some other light reading about the history of Digital Retailing: https://shopbypayment.com/2020/04/23/the-history-of-automotive-digital-retailing/

Because to be honest, I've played around with it, and it's difficult to use. I know Brian would provide candid feedback on how to make some minor adjustments that would benefit usability and make it award-winning worthy.

tru Shop-by-Payment® is the quickest, easiest, and the ONLY solution to this common car buying scenario:

“I want to buy a sport utility vehicle, I’m open to new or used, and my budget is $450 per month. I’m not sure how good my credit is. I’m also open to any make. Oh, and I want to trade in my vehicle that is financed.“
I land on your website. Now what?

I once had a colleague tell me "It's not bragging if it's true". ;)

We don't need an official award. Our award is when a current dealer leaves us to try something else they were "sold" then comes back to us.

For the record, David Kain and his events are prolly the most authentic, we've previously attended and sponsored them. After seeing tru Shop-by-Payment®, David said "It's the best-kept secret in the industry".

And for full transparency, we do offer our dealers his BDC training. No kickbacks or $$$$ exchange between us.

Hey, I'm glad you agree.

"Hatred" you say.... Nah... no hatred at all. I just don't take the theft of my clients' data lightly (whatsoever) and the fact that it's tied in with giving those same thieves an "award" seems shambolic to me, downright godawful.

Three of my auto clients used (emphasis on used) SC and then they didn't (because of Tognetti exposing them). So, I owe DealerRefresh one for allowing that to be featured, but at the same time don't get on my case when I question the authenticity of an award given to that same fraudulent vendor in vainglorious fashion.

I'm not seeing people get on your case about WHAT you're saying, as much as HOW you are saying it.
There's plenty of good conversation to have here, but it can be had with level heads and ever-so-slightly professional language.
But again, you have the freedom to approach this how you choose.

I believe @craigh is on the same page as me here, but I have much less experience in this arena.

I am trying to encourage you to deliver your message with a little less intensity. You have solid input and experience, but your message is getting lost. I want you to be heard Alexander, but unfortunately your message will fall on deaf ears when you share it the way that you are choosing.

I am not hacking on you here, I am trying to help you be heard.

No offense, but frankly I could give a rat's butt about what anybody thinks of me or how it comes across (neither should you). Denying the truth (ethics) for sake of monetary gain is commonplace and all the rage these days. I thought the idea was to go to bat for the dealer? I'm starting to think this is the opposite.

Good talk. Go get em tiger.

Might be time for @Alex Snyder to step aside and let @Jeff Kershner run Dealer Refresh.

Definitely a conflict of interest for @Alex Snyder

:nopity:

So, the biggest troll of DealerRefresh and the biggest spammer would like me to walk away. Okay.

I go out of my way to separate FRIKINtech from DealerRefresh. FRIKINtech is a sponsor like any other sponsor and is given the same rights to place ads as anyone else who helps keep this site going. People have asked me to speak about FT On RefreshFriday and maybe 3 times in the forums. I do not open almost every thing I ever say with something like “credit first.”

The hard truth is, neither of you bring much value here. Your messages are the same over and over and over again. The sad truth for Jeff and me (who have been doing this for 15 years) is that you aren’t the first and won’t be the last.
