Below is the format we will be using to post the December final results with sales data included. I have added 4 extra fields to enter sales numbers and percentage of sales increase with chat.

(Please note: Because there was no chat service from the previous month, they won’t have the carry over sales they normally would have had. You should see a larger sales percentage increase in January because of carry over leads that are still working).

The final December numbers should be posted on the dealer refresh forum by January 7th. Keep an eye on this thread to see the results :)

Can you say who the dealer is? I'm curious as to whether this is coming from how the chat enticement is placed on their website or if they have someone who is just a chat champ.

Very strong! This has been a great thread to follow.

It's nice to see increases like this. Goes to show you that everyone answers to a difference call to action.

Kudos to the dealers tracking this and participating in a case study while sticking through with it. Of course why wouldn't you with nice results like this?
 
Total leads that came in between 9pm to midnight = 27.9% or 145 Leads Midnight - 8am 7.37% or 38 leads.

Wanted to make sure everyone saw this part of Brett Sutherlin's post.

Basically what these numbers show is that 35% of all their leads are being obtained after hours!

There are some Chat Providers that would try and have you believe that chat is not needed when your dealership is closed. Not sure why they would say this unless they are just trying to save money on staffing? I think 35% of your lead activity after hours would be a good reason to be paying attention to your website, and it's lead generating potential after hours with live chat support!
