I've been posting examples of this issue on LinkedIn but wanted to share here in case some folks can shed some light.

For Cadillac, Buick/GMC and Chevrolet dealers, I'm seeing a dramatic drop in Referral traffic from the OEM websites, but can't figure out why? Both sites are secure (https:), and the referral links look to be proper. I've checked functionality on the OEM website, everything looks to be working as designed.

Please let me know if you are seeing this same thing, or if you have any ideas on cause or fix. Perhaps the traffic is still there, but it makes it very difficult to track results from shoppers starting their journey on the OEM websites.

Here are some examples:

Interesting find @georgenenni Has GM made any major revamps to their websites?

I was just on https://www.chevrolet.com/ - wow. What a really bad website and experience. Not sure how they could have EVER sent any traffic...
@Jeff Kershner not any changes I'm aware of. I agree that the site design needs work, and the mapping function (map to dealer's location) is broken for most dealers. My contacts at GM tell me I'm crazy, and that all is well!
