Halloween Horror Stories From Digital Dealer

Has anyone seen the October issue of Dealer Magazine? I feel bad for any vendors that spent money on an ad in a magazine that has yet to be published. Just another example of Mike Roscoe failing to execute. Perhaps Mike Roscoe should spend less time writing insulting emails and focus more on providing his clients with value.

Beware folks, unless you are bullet proof, probably best not to comment or re-post this thread. Micah Birkholz was fired from Shift Digital for re-posting this thread on facebook. I would venture to bet a certain jerk made a phone call to his contact there and bitched up a storm. On that note, I promise that I am going to do everything in my power to help see that this bully no longer has a sand box to play in. Something is in the works, so stay tuned.

Mikah is going to need a new job if anyone is looking. Mikah, please post a link to your resume here so people can learn more about you. I just hired two new salespeople otherwise I would offer this man a job.

He got FIRED for sharing this on facebook? That's taking it to another level IMO.

What if you share your opinion about -- let's say Obamacare, and how you find it to be a complete joke or you express your personal opinion around your disappointment in the program and the President? Should you be fired or let go from your employer? (I guess it depends on who your employer is, huh?).

That's sad to hear.

Mikah, take advantage of our "For Hire" category here on the forums and post your resume.

Well folks, Mike Roscoe is being Mike Roscoe. Like the bully he is, he's decided to send his pit bull attorney after the publishers of these automotive forums. Since when did it become a crime to post a negative review of an individual or company? I really hope that Mike Roscoe pursues this all the way to a day in court. I have the financial means to stand up to this bully and I will.

Kudos to Ralph Paglia for sharing the letter he got from Mike's attorney: http://www.automotivedigitalmarketi...ealer?id=1970539:Topic:505352&page=2#comments

DealerRefresh has too received this letter from Mikes Attorney. :dunno:

Prior to my official termination from Shift Digital I was reprimanded for sharing my opinion on this topic and on Friday I was let go... On my termination call that included the team leader, Vice President and an HR rep they just said it wasn't working out. They discontinued my benefits immediately... Which for a family of 7 is a slap in the face... And have yet to give me a detailed response as to what company policy I violated. I know Gene Black from Kia didn't care for me I will release details as to "why" at another time.
I have some close friends at Shift , people I respect. So as much as I abhor their lack of ability to find managers to mentor and lead a team, I want nothing but the success for my friends. With that being said I wanted to disclose that no one associated with DD should take adverse action against SD....
I had posted a blog about my experience on ADM, when it hit the 1,000 view mark I removed it. I am moving on and going to find a new path.

Jeff, If Mike's attorney took this to court, the judge would probably toss it out as a frivolous lawsuit. His attorney would know better than to even file and waste the courts time since there can be repercussions for filling frivolous lawsuits.

The only thing that I could be potentially sued for is sharing his e-mail. Recovering damages, especially for something like an e-mail, is highly unlikely. Since e-mails are generally not income-producing works, a court is unlikely to grant any monetary compensation for such an infringement.
