#RefreshFriday Merchandising Steroids for Dealers Looking to do Better! | Pistell, Vaughn, Bertram, Barba

Something I thought of over the weekend after an email from Joe that might be helpful to smaller dealers. This falls loosely under merchandising. We don't have a marketing person or anyone that is good at generating graphics. A great resource if you're not using it already is Fiverr. Attached are some graphics done by a user on there @prudendesign. All of these cost me less than $20.
Canva is super easy to use as well and has tons of templates that you can customize.

@BillKVMotorCo , I am watching last weeks Refresh Friday, and pulled up your website to check out the photos.

They look really good, some that have clouds in the background are just SO GOOD!!

How are you "dulling" the lighting in these photos? They look as if they have all been taken on an overcast or cloudy day, but it is clearly blue skies and not shade.

Thanks

My guess on that one is that at the time they took the first picture the sun was behind a cloud. You can see later the pictures aren't quite as dark. Our main focus that helps them be crisp is really just keeping the sun behind you. There are literally no filters or touch ups. The salesperson that took them has an iPhone. But now I have to talk to that salesperson about leaving the floor protectors in for the interior pictures. :lmao:Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching. Any other questions just hit me up! I'm glad to help.

Merchandising is art and science. Building Blocks are:

Comparison UI

CTA

Best Practices:
• This comparison data stays with the shopper onto other VDPs -and- it pre-populates the trade-in form.
• #GradualEngagement Strategy (goal: create a reward for the user to add PII).
