Richard Keith Latman - Thank You for your response. I would love to have a vendor "Bake off" with you on video, live, or anyway our customers and prospects would like to see this. It would be great for the industry to really understand where everyone stands. NO BS, or "Coming Soon" stuff! Richard Keith Latman, remember you made the offer and I am 100% looking forward to this! Do you want to see if we can we get any other CRM providers involved? Again, my only goal of this is to show the automotive world where we all really stand. Should be great for all involved!

Where can we host this event? Online or at a industry show?

Sean here's my suggestion:

1. If Jeff and Alex are up to it I think they should moderate the event.

2. All costs split between the companies.

3. They get logins to both tools and live access during and after the event.

4. Video will be streamed/played unedited only and cannot be used by any company for any other reason.

5. You and I both allowed 45 minutes for a presentation and then each of us allowed 30 minutes to ask/answer questions from each other.

6. Just you and I (along with Jeff and Alex) and NO communication or devices to our corporate offices.

7. Both of us demo in a real dealers active account.

8. If you can't show it live it doesn't exist and the moderators are free to fact check and question during the event.

Both video of our screens and of our faces will be made. Alex and Jeff should be free to then use the video and their live accounts to post their review of the contest.

What do you think? I am trying to structure a fair and real event where people have no opportunity to kink the technology or the message. What each of us says stays on the record and the moderators are free to adjust the rules on the fly where they see fit.
 
Wow. A duel! I'd suggest the famed dueling grounds in my adopted hometown of Weehawken, NJ, but they are currently under the on-ramp to the Lincoln Tunnel. They were good enough for Aaron Burr to kill Alexander Hamilton, but now they are a break-down lane on the way into Manhattan.
Seriously, it's great to see 2 confident folks willing to put it on the line. I wouldn't be surprised if each company doesn't have some clear strengths. The winner here is sure to be the dealers!
