What VIN check providers are best for used cars?

I've been searching if someone here talks about the VIN check providers when buying used cars. For a few years I've been importing cars from US to Europe, and the only good options were CarFax and AutoCheck (maybe a few others but quality wasn't there..) Maybe I haven't met the right people that can actually give a normal dealership prices or what mistake am I making?

But after shipping 20 cars, and running a couple hundred VIN checks with mentioned providers I understood that 20 cars ain't gonna pay for anything!

So, a year back found this www.zilocar.com and 9 times out of 10, the quality is great, the price is absolutely amazing.
Anybody willing to share what VIN check providers you are using?

Thanks for the help!

For auction cars headed overseas I'd split it in two. NMVTIS first, through one of the approved providers. It's a few bucks a VIN and it's the one that shows title brands and total loss records, which is what bites you on export or at registration. Then Carfax or AutoCheck only on the cars you're actually going to bid on, since that's where the money goes. Also Google the VIN before you pay for anything. A lot of Copart and IAAI cars have been through an auction before and the old listing photos are still floating around, which tells you more about past damage than any report will.
