Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to the forum and have been following a lot of the discussions on maximizing profit and cutting marketing costs. It's clear that customer communication is key, but it can be a real time sink, not to mention expensive to produce high-quality video updates.

I wanted to get your thoughts on something our company is doing. We've developed a way to create professional, custom-tailored AI videos for car dealerships in minutes, not days. The idea is to turn a simple text prompt into a professional video of a salesperson, service advisor, or finance manager, delivering a message to a customer.

For example, instead of a salesperson having to record an update for a new arrival, you can have a video ready in minutes. We've seen great results with videos like this one we made for a dealership with a new G63 AMG:

The process is incredibly fast, and what would normally be a $1,500-$5,000 production budget can be done for a fraction of the cost. I'm curious to hear if this is a tool you could see your team using. What are your thoughts on using AI to streamline customer communication?

Using AI to streamline customer communications is the future. Not only is it more efficient, but AI can come through the noise and understand the customers sensibilities and drives. This allows you to connect with them quicker and stronger.

While I understand the angle, I think trying to replicate a sales person is a terrible use case. Other creative? Fine.
I think using AI in place of a real person comes across as in-authentic and would actually hurt a dealership when the whole point/value proposition of a dealership is human connection and relationships.

Zack, I don't think we're advocating replacing sales people with AI. I think we're advocating sales people using AI to understand and connect more strongly with their customer base. This is the heart of what is called co-inteligence. Truth is is that one of the biggest complaints in our industry is sales people not understanding the customers needs and wants. This has been a problem since before I got in the car business 30 years ago.

In the entirety of my career as a car sales person, I watched as dealerships tried to train and improve sales people's understandings of the customers. I don't think the situation has gotten better. I still hear the same complaints from friends and family about their experiences at car dealerships.

I hear Dealer decisionmaker's time and time again. Say what their sales people should be doing. The problem is the same decision-maker are always complaining that they're not doing it.

AI can help everybody by leveling them so they can focus on their strengths and get assistance with their weaknesses.

AI has improved 100x since then.

I have some friends over at Baxter Auto Group. I wanted to demo how merchandising choreography REQUIRES highly structured data (images, features, transcript all align).

To those that take the noise of of the data, the future is bright.

That's a great way to put it!

AI video marketing is a powerful tool for car dealers, helping them get results faster and more efficiently. The team still does the work—AI just makes it easier.

Im working on a related post, here is an advance:

will detail everything about creating this sort of ai video, the ai models you can use, image to video leaderboard for comparison, the text to audio model, etc... want to create a complete guide. The above video was literally generated in 20 minutes from a few of the car pictures, and its listing details; there was no manual editing, the whole thing gets done by ai. I do notice a few small issues on the video. With a bit more effort I think you could get a near flawless video for a few dollars.

Here is one more, this one was before I did a few fixes to the audio script:

and one more, is kinda fun to work on these and see what results from a few pictures:
