Window Sticker 2012 - DR Art Project

OK, I thought it went directly to the car.

I've seen salespeople taking pictures of the sticker to remember the stock number. I once caught lazy salespeople going to the key machine, instead of the lot, to determine if a vehicle was on the lot. I rushed the cars to the website and often they would be on the site before they left service. Obviously, the key wouldn't hit the key machine until after service and detail.

Dealers debated modernizing the traditional used car window sticker, with Jeff Kershner proposing replacing static stickers with infographics and mobile engagement tools like QR codes or augmented reality. While opinions differed on whether to drive lot shoppers to mobile sites or into the dealership, the consensus shifted toward dynamic, technology-enabled solutions that could work both during business hours (salesperson engagement tool) and after-hours (customer self-service). The practical challenge of implementing electronic displays was acknowledged, but the overall direction favored leveraging mobile technology and emerging platforms rather than maintaining outdated printed stickers.
