I'm looking into online service scheduling. I've started looking at Xtime and ADP. The big differences I see are that Xtime has vehicle and mileage specific information, while ADP has the ability to take customer payments online, and with ADP, I don't have to teach my technology adverse service people another interface.

We are a small to midsize dealer, and do not have a full fledged BDC or call center. Anything else I should be aware of?

✨ AI Highlights

Automotive dealers discuss their experiences with XTime service scheduling software, with particular focus on its strengths (intuitive GUI, daily ledger reports, customer online scheduling reaching 35% of appointments) and persistent weaknesses (duplicate customer records, unreliable campaign filtering, and poor documentation of outbound call results). While some dealerships report significant success using XTime campaigns to boost appointment volume by 22%, others struggle with the platform's reliability and incomplete feature set, leading to debates about whether problems stem from software limitations or user training gaps. The emerging consensus suggests XTime is the market leader with solid fundamentals for service CRM, but it requires significant workarounds and manual processes to maximize effectiveness for larger dealership groups.
