AI Video Marketing: Is this the future for dealership sales and service?

The tech has come a long way in a short time but some notes and questions for those posting videos above:

1. Beside the VEO 3.1 system, are you using others to help create the video (Claude, chatgpt, specialized AI video tools, etc) or stand alone in this tool?
2. Where are you post these besides a Youtube page and maybe socials?
3. Some of the word tracks are obviously not a human and even some of the way they say things sticks out as AI. How do you clean it up?
I'm using some code I previously wrote for the company I work for. (MAJOR brand). They dont mind I reuse some of the code, so is fine. Tons of resources went into it, and there is not point in rewriting it. The idea was new so I have done few tests post on Youtube, nothing else. Could create something to guide users if there is interest. About the audio, I didnt really put much effort into yet, was just testing to see what kind of results I could get form the video models. Kinda put it over the video and it sounded ok so. I think with a bit of work it will be very difficult to tell is AI at all. I used the Elevenlabs API, they are also improving their models all the time. I think I used version 2 of the model, and there is a version 3 as a beta available. I feel like audio is a solved thing, it is the video that is not there yet, if you just pay a bit of attention to the hands you can rapidly know is AI, wont be the case in a few months. I think we are very close to the point, when you wont be able to set them apart. Happy to answer any other question you may have.

I am very interested. Been working on something similar myself but no luck at all.
It can be challenging. Not sure what will work best. You want to learn how to make them? You want a product that makes them? Or you just want an API you can use to build your product?

Im thinking the API will be the best because most car dealerships will probably just want to integrate their CRM/CMS . The pictures they already take and upload are turned into the videos they need. Just an idea for now.

Software engineer here.
Would you be interested in a SaaS service that specializes in generating car promo videos?
I’m thinking of a few options that could be combined into a simple workflow:
-Fetch specific vehicle data (VIN/API) and include verified specs in the video
-Use your own photos to improve accuracy and results
-Choose between different AI salesperson personas (aka avatar)
-Generate the script and apply it as on-screen captions
Maybe something else

Sounds cool. I did be interested in seeing some demos, see what you manage to create! Could you publish a few demo videos like I did and try to top them? Lets see how far we can take Veo3.1 and collaborate.

I'll be honest, they seem boring, it seems like they could be more exciting.

Yeah you can make some very creative stuff, I think I wrote about it on my first post, dealerships are most likely to benefit from traditionally looking videos; the format not different from what you will get if you hire non ai work video done.

You could probably be more creative with Exotic sports cars, show them at the race track, with super models, and go crazy with that sort of idea. I'm focusing on what imo will turn into more sales for the more traditional car dealership; so the idea I have is a person talking about the car, the usual walk around, with attention to important features. Think those are more likely to create an edge on sales.

Those aren't mine, I wise they were!

I wonder ... with all the AI will real human voices and interactions become more popular?

I gave it a try here but I have too much redneck in my voice and the images were just thrown together but it is a modern car, and by putting the cars make and model in the title, as well as the start of the description it should help it rank for the keywords and then drop a link to the dealership in the description and your doing link building at the same time.

This wasn't done with AI but just trying to duplicate the above videos and using a modern car ... I also stole some images from bubble bee from the transformers movie because I was too lazy to put a bunch of images together but I bet you could shorten the video, create a template, drop images into the template, and automate the entire process without using AI.

Sounds cool, have you checked ElevenLabs? you can clone your voice, then give it a script of that it should say, then you can make it sound like it was recorded in a studio. Then for the video, you can use Gemini: ‎Google Gemini , you just give it a few pictures, and then it uses those pictures to generate a video clip. Generate a few clips, put them together into a single video and overlay the elevenlabs narration.

Yes, the whole process can be automated, that is what I did for the examples I shared. You just pass a few pictures, then my code does the whole thing, and outputs a complete video in a few minutes. Yet the quality is not there yet, I think we just need the next version of Veo, before you get something that can be actually used to increase sales.

Thanks, I will do another one and give it a try
