@Muller, when you complain Google web master that some one is buying links you should have enough evidence of proof that some one buying links, because otherwise its been tough for Google to identify who is honest.

While forum members universally condemn the practice as deceptive and agreed it should be preventable through basic fraud detection (like flagging multiple reviews from one account in 24 hours), the core frustration is that Google rarely penalizes offenders, making reports largely ineffective and giving unethical competitors an unchecked advantage.
