None of the above. I assign based on ability to handle them and the talent level involved. Why would I give my "B" players the same number of chances that my "A" players get? You want to get more? Work to become an "A" player. If someone falters during the month, cut them back so that the performers get more opportunity. And if you think this method will generate too much turnover, on average my team of 14 has been with me 3 years apiece and I only had 3 new hires all last year.
