This is true. Most don't care about the fact that they're compromising their users. At least they're sorry
HEY, HEY you revived it!If you accidentally tap DealerScience in their widget, it'll open a new tab and take you to the DealerScience home page. Just what the customer is looking for!
As an aside, it also happens to be a "dofollow" link. Pass on that link juice!

You should, if your website vendor is compromising you, this is the thread to hold them publicly accountable.I'm a dirty bastard. What can I say?
I can start sh**ting on my own websites if that makes it any better. Next one I post will be my own!
This is what showed up for me on a S8 w/ Chrome. I clicked the menu icon on the top right. The floating text widget, a floating chat widget (I think) and another text us pop up. It's to much. I mean, I literally just showed up (hypothetically walked in the door).

That's their fault for not user testing it before they launched it.That text service is offered by Edmunds, and they recently updated to a less intrusive and cleaner mobile chat.
