What in the Heck is Going On With my Dealer.com sites in Google SRP's?????

Trying my best to do that but at $1599 per month......:egads:

Don't do that. Please. Hire an SEO and pay them 1600 a month. Youll get better results and ya know...they will do nothing but work on your product. They won't have 25 other accounts (or more) to worry about.

Make sure you are prepared to onboard and help them though. I came into this industry in January as an agency style SEO who was sick of ripping customers off for subpar, but VERY expensive SEO services. I am just now feeling less bewildered by the sheer amount of BS that comes with being in a digital marketing department at a dealership. And, Never have I ever seen so many issues with SEO automation as that that is coming out of the vendor sites that I HAVE to use. Don't let them touch your site. Hire a specialist, and support your local economy.

Sort of. I don't think they're going to live off $1600 a month.
They would need a dealer group or multiple dealers for this to work.

@GerryFoster Not to be rude, but who do you think is going to work primarily (dedicated / exclusive) for $1,600? A non-automotive SEO understands automotive web platforms and content poorly. There are thousands of definitions on what SEO is and this argument is a broken record. Content marketing doesn't include SEO website essentials. Onsite vs. Offsite, etc., etc.

Obviously there are tiers for "SEO," but I'd throw the folowing into the face of the people anyone is calling an "SEO Expert or Specialist."

✨ AI Highlights

Rick Buffkin reported that his Dealer.com (DDC) website is displaying incorrect page titles and meta descriptions in Google search results—showing other dealerships' names and locations instead of his own—and discovered the issue affects multiple other DDC clients as well. The thread explores whether this is a database corruption, security breach, or technical glitch, with community members advising escalation and noting that while some DDC sites appear unaffected, others show the same problem. The key takeaway is that this appears to be a widespread Dealer.com platform issue requiring urgent attention from their technical team, with uncertainty about how long the problem has persisted and what impact it may have on search rankings and ad quality scores.
