I deals from 7/30 that are still under review, the status has never changed. I do have a few rejected that we resubmitted but I have at least 4-6 submitted in those first days with no answer. This is insane.As of today, They are now going to increase staff to 1100 by end of the week. Sounds better until you read the AP article that indicates 411,600 or so deals are now submitted. Plus the fact that more than half of those will be rejected and resubmitted making double work.

Keep posting if you get paid..... I would like just one to change to pending payment even would make me happy at this point.

Too bad this didn't happen before the GM and Chrysler Bankruptcys (AKA the dismantling of the dealer body) It would have been good evidence for why Manufacturers need dealers (to float Billions of dollars for an unknown period of time!)

What was the invoice date on the one you got paid on? We have invoices going back to August 3 that are still "under review" Also did everyone see the survey that was sent out by the NHTSA yesterday? It was a survey of how many clunker deals dealers had done and how many they had been paid on. Finally what a great idea to see how much money has been spent! I don't know where any of the money has gone because from this site it appears that from the east coast to the west nobody is getting paid!

Sorry CA CARS I forgot to post the date- The deal was completed on July 27th and we submitted it on Aug. 1 for payment. It was a first time submission, I am curious if any rejects have been approved?

Update for our store, as of now:

15.5 % approved and paid
31.8% approved
52.7% under review

It appears they are working on deals submitted around 8/5/09. The majority of our approval and payment activity happened on 8/3-8/6, for deals that were submitted on 7/28 to 7/31.

Car Dealers Will Get Clunkers Money, LaHood Says (Update3) - Bloomberg.com

Ray Lahood is a liar:

“Many of the applications are faulty and we have to send them back,†LaHood told reporters after the press conference. “As soon as we get a good application, we send the check out.â€

We had 40 submissions which were approved by the 4th, and we still have not seen payment for these. They are still in ready for payment status. Could Lahood possibly mean that money was sent to Citibank, but Citibank is sitting on the money for some reason?

He also hasn't addressed that his reviewers are also faulty. The system does not allow you to remove attachments, so their reviewers will often miss the additional attachments in a resubmission because they are on the second page.

This guy either has his head completely in the sand, or is deliberately in the misinformation game.

Here is a good one. I guess this was us but it was rejected because we provided 3 insurance cards. I guess that was too much proof.

Just got paid for 14 more yesterday, and 1 more today, so as of now we are paid for 39 out of about 150 submissions, or about 25%. Too bad the website is broken right now.
